Pro Trading Systems Frequently Asked Questions
About Pro Trading Systems

Is Pro
Trading Systems, Inc. a broker-dealer?

No. Pro Trading Systems, Inc. is
a trading software development company. Through our
affiliation with Golden Beneficial Securities Corp, a
broker-dealer and a NASD/SIPC/MSRB member firm, you can trade stock
and options at very competitive cent per share rates using our
advanced trading software.

subsidiary of Instinet Corporation. Instinet Clearing Services is
one of the largest clearing firms in the United States and as of
December 31, 2002 Instinet has total assets a tad under a BILLION

What
exactly do you offer?

Pro Trading Systems, Inc. offers
advanced charting and scanning software. Through our
affiliation with Golden Beneficial Securities Corp, a
broker-dealer and a NASD/SIPC/MSRB member firm, we provide
you professional level direct access trading system for Nasdaq, NYSE and AMEX securities, options, and e-mini futures. How
does your service differ from other on-line brokers?

Most traditional on-line brokers
are web-based. This means that orders entered online are first sent
to a broker who then places the order for you. With our execution
system, your orders are sent directly to the exchange, ECN or
marketplace for fast executions, all for a low, competitive
cent per share fee. Many other direct access firms charge
tickets, preventing you from inexpensively scaling into and out of
positions. It is also possible with some of them that your
order will get partial fills where you may have to pay more than
one ticket charge for your order. The biggest thing that
sets us apart from all of our competition is our software.
If you feel it will benefit your trading by reducing the numbers
of stocks you have to manually watch, or with our unique charting
and exclusive indicators found in no other charting package, then
you need to trade with us because this software is not available
anywhere else.
How
long has Pro Trading Systems been in business?

Pro Trading Systems, Inc. has
been in business for over three years. What started out as
two professional traders developing advanced and unique trading
software for our own personal trading developed into a
software business. We first developed charting and scanning
plugins (Erlanger Quote, Trade Station, and Metastock) for active
professional traders and have been actively developing our latest
charting and scanning software for the last two years. Through
our affiliation with Golden Beneficial Securities Corp we can now
bring you integrated brokerage services as well, in one complete
package.
 Is Pro
Trading Systems, Inc. a public company?

No, Pro Trading Systems, Inc. is
a privately held company.
 Commissions
 What is
your current commission rate?

Why are
my commissions slightly higher on the sell side?

Under Section 31 of the
Securities Exchange Act of 1934, National Association of Securities
Dealers (NASD) and national securities exchanges, such as the New
York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the American Stock Exchange (ASE),
must pay transaction fees to the Securities Exchange Commission
(SEC). Each brokerage firm passes along the fees it collects to NASD
and the exchanges, and these fees are ultimately forwarded to the
U.S. Treasury. SEC
fees are only assessed when you sell a stock. Click for
more details.

The fastest way to open an
account is by filling out an application online. You will be guided
through a series of forms appropriate for the type of account you
choose to open. Once your account

You can open a cash or margin account with
$5,000 and a day trading account with
$25,000. What is
the difference between a cash account and a margin
account?

A cash account is not issued any

short sell securities. Margin accounts with balances less than
$25,000 are limited to three (3) day trades in five (5) business
days, whereas cash accounts are limited to their aggregate cash per
day. Margin accounts with balances greater than $25,000 have no
restriction on the number of trades placed. What is
a day trade?

A day trade is defined as the
opening (buying or short selling) and closing (selling or covering)
of the same security on the same day. What is
a day trading account?

A day trading account is an
account with a balance of at least $25,000 or an account that has
displayed day trading tendencies. Any account that exceeds three (3)
